    • For sale is a beautiful, low mileage 1989 Honda CBR 600 Hurricane in the iconic red, white, and blue paint scheme.  This CBR appears to run and ride very nice. It has been garage stored since new.  It had a professional cosmetic restoration and full mechanical service about 2 years ago, which include:
    Full professional repaint in the original colors (beautiful!) Colors on bike are a bid darker and more vivid than photos show.. The white appears to be a pearl metallic-OEM
    Wheels were repainted to OEM spec.
    Chassis and driveline cleaned and repainted as necessary-OEM
    Suspension restored to OEM
    Full mechanical inspection and service including cooling system
    Carbs. professionally rebuilt
    New battery
    Fuel tank professionally cleaned
    All lighting and gauges checked and repaired as necessary
    This rare CBR 600 is in collector quality condition, from what I can observe.  Near mint condition.  Very minor imperfections, but you really have to look for them.  I didn’t find any noteworthy cracks in any of the fairings.
    I am selling a few bikes from my 30+ year friend’s collection to help him out.  He is in his late 70’s and does not know how to use the computer well or list and sell something on Ebay.  I am not a professional motorcycle inspector or repairman, etc.  The listing reflects my knowledge of the motorcycle as told to me by my friend, as well as my personal observations upon a lengthy inspection.  There may be other cosmetic or mechanical flaws that I have not noted.  I have done my best to provide as accurate a description as I can, but opinions vary.  I have test ridden this bike and it appears to be in nice mechanical condition. Cosmetics are outstanding.  My research shows these are very rare, especially in this condition.
